Art for homes shaped by people, context and personal connection

I help private clients find and acquire artworks that resonate with their lives, homes and surroundings. Each project is shaped through dialogue, personal context and a curatorial approach to how art is lived with over time.

How I work with private clients

1. Introductory dialogue

Every collaboration starts with a free conversation about your space, aesthetic preferences and needs.

2. Scoping the collaboration

Together we define the scope of the project, including timeframe, budget and specific requirements, to ensure clarity from the beginning.

3. Research and exploration

I research artists, practices and artworks that match your context and direction. This may include home visits and private viewings.

4. Selection and dialogue

I present a curated selection of works and artists, and we explore how each of them relates to your space and personal context.

5. Buying artworks

If needed, I facilitate artist dialogue, negotiation, acquisition and transportation of the artworks.

6. Placement and curation

I advise on how the artworks are placed and integrated into your home and existing or future collection.

I help you navigate the diverse art scene of emerging and professional artists… also the ones working outside the traditional gallery circuit.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • If you are primarily looking for art as an investment, I am not the right art advisor for you.

However, if you want to build a meaningful relationship with art, this approach may be relevant.

It may be especially relevant if you are:

    • interested in discovering emerging and established artists

    • a new homeowner building a sense of belonging

    • living internationally or in transition

    • interested in buying art directly from artists

    • looking for guidance beyond gallery systems or interior trends

  • Getting started is simple. Reach out through the contact form and briefly describe what you are looking for.

I will get back to you within a few days so we can schedule an introductory call and begin the dialogue.

  • My practice is rooted in the belief that buying art is not about status or investment alone. It is about building relationships between artists, ideas, spaces and people.

It is about feeling connected to yourself, your surroundings and the world at large. This perspective guides all of my advisory work.

  • I do not represent artists and I do not work from a fixed portfolio.

Instead, I collaborate with a wide range of independent artists, often outside traditional gallery systems. This allows for a more flexible and context-driven approach.

It also enables direct relationships between client and artist, without intermediary gatekeeping.

  • In my advisory services I work with a transparent hourly rate and do not take commission on artworks.

This ensures that all advice is independent and focused solely on finding the right works for you.

Each advisory process is designed with care for your overall budget.

As a general guideline, I aim for my advisory fee to remain below 30% of your total art budget, which is significantly lower than the commission typically included in gallery pricing.
