Art in institutions begins with the people and the spaces they share

I collaborate with public and private institutions to develop curated and site-specific art projects that create meaningful encounters between art, architecture and the people who use the space every day.

How I work with institutions

1. Introductory dialogue

Every collaboration begins with conversations about the institution, its users, the physical environment and the ambitions of the project.

2. Contract and scope

Together we define the scope of the project, including stakeholder involvement, timeframe, budget, fundraising and other specific requirements.

3. Artist research

I research artists, practices and artworks that match the context and space. This may include input from users, focus groups or management.

4. Curatorial direction

I present a curated selection of works and artists alongside a curatorial plan, and together we define the direction of the project, whether it involves existing works, artist commissions or site-specific development.

5. Acquisitions and Artist collaboration

I facilitate acquisitions and coordinate dialogue between the institution, artists and collaborators throughout the process, from initial sketches to final installation.

6. Communication and Events

I assist with communication material and planning of events that strengthen the connection between the artworks and the people who use the space.

When integrated with contextual awareness, art can support reflection, dialogue and a stronger sense of connection between people and institution.

Why I work with art

My practice is rooted in the belief that art reflects the world we live in. It allows us to see differently, understand ourselves and others more deeply, and expand our capacity for empathy. In a time shaped by increasing division and digital echo chambers, I see art as a space for perspective, complexity and connection.
