Buying art is not about status or investment alone. It is about building relationships with artists, ideas, spaces and each other.
My advisory practice is grounded in the belief that buying is not about status or investment alone. It is about building relationships with artists, ideas, spaces and each other.
It is about feeling connected to yourself, your community and the world at large.
Through art, we recognize emotions, stories, tensions and memories. It offers new ways of seeing the world.
How I work
1. Clarifying direction
We start by exploring your needs, context and intentions. This can be anything from a private home and personal collection to a workplace or institutional project. Together we define what role art should play and what kind of experience you are looking to create.
2. Research and exploration
I research artists, practices and artworks that match your context and direction. This includes both established and emerging artists, often across different parts of the art ecosystem, to ensure a broad and thoughtful range of possibilities.
3. Selection and dialogue
We narrow down the direction together. I present a curated selection of works and artists, and we explore how each of them relates to your space, your needs and the experience you want to create..
4. Placement and curation
I support the final selection and how the artworks are placed and experienced in the space. This is where the relationship between artwork, environment and people is brought into focus.
Each project is shaped individually around your needs, context and budget
Working with independent artists allows me to introduce clients to emerging and established artists through a more open curatorial lens.
Many artists work outside traditional gallery representation. This is not necessarily a limitation, but often a reflection of how their practice develops, who they collaborate with, or how they choose to engage with the art world.
Working outside these systems allows for a broader curatorial field. It opens up possibilities to engage with artists based on the quality and relevance of their practice, rather than their position within a commercial structure.

Why I work with art
My practice is rooted in the belief that art reflects the world we live in. It allows us to see differently, understand ourselves and others more deeply, and expand our capacity for empathy. In a time shaped by increasing division and digital echo chambers, I see art as a space for perspective, complexity and connection.
This is what guides my work.
